This is the ultimate collaboration of Chattanooga women. We have Kelly Fitzgerald, of Society of Work hosting this time. Her new space is meant to host all of the start up and free lance divas. Its an office space that you can use with a membership or just pay as you go and drop in for the day. The idea being that you would be able to collaborate with other local talent and have an amazing office space to do it from. Society of Work is located on the 13th floor of the First Tennessee Building on the corner of Market Street and 7th Street.
Since our event is in the evening, parking is free at the meters.
The Nightingale Network is based on the power of collective philanthropy. Women in the Network host a party, inviting their friends for food, drink and the opportunity to change lives. This time around it is our clothing swap! We will be presented with three potential grantees and asked to give whatever amount we feel comfortable with – no matter how large or small. The idea is that you would give as much as you would have spent if you had gone out that night! So basically trading a night of free entertainment and free clothes for the opportunity to help the community! Pretty fresh trade if you ask me!
As a Tennessee transplant from Kentucky I have always been a fan of whiskey. Often I am the only girl ordering whiskey but it seems times are a changing thanks to The Whiskey Women! Think about it, no woman ever made history after ordering a Bahama Mama. We invite you to bring a bottle of whiskey to share and the Whiskey Women will bring all of the fixin’s to mix it up to some fun whiskey cocktails!
So ask yourself, who is this girl? The girl that works hard, cares about the people in her community, and knows the value of a stiff drink. She is the kind of girl who WEARS IT ANYWAYS>
If that’s you we would love to see you at the clothing swap.
Bring a bottle of wine or whiskey to Society of Work for the perfect to transition you from Summer to Fall!
